College credit programs available for students

Spencerport High School offers students the opportunity to earn college credit while taking select high school courses through a dual credit program with Monroe Community College. The dual credit program is open to all students enrolled in select Spencerport High School courses regardless of age or grade level.

The following courses are available as dual credit offerings for the 2007-2008 school year: accounting, advanced accounting, BA/BCA, computer keyboarding, principles of marketing, sports and entertainment marketing, economics, calculus, health and wellness, graphic design and early childhood.

The high school Business Department is hosting a Dual Credit Parent Information Night on Monday, September 24 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the High School Performing Arts Center. A presentation will be followed by a question and answer session and in-person registration. Refreshments will be served. Students may register with classroom teachers. Registration materials must be submitted by Friday, September 28.
