Spencerport CSD chooses
new administrator

On September 20, Bonnie Seaburn succeeds Dr. Bernadette Skobjak as Assistant Superintendent for Instruction at Spencerport Schools. Skobjak announced her retirement last spring.

"Bonnie is a truly outstanding administrator," said Mary Anne Kermis, Spencerport superintendent of schools. "She brings with her experience as an elementary and secondary principal as well as her work in staff development."

Seaburn started her career with the district in 1979 as a high school counselor. She trained teachers as an instructional specialist and was promoted to assistant principal. For nine years, she was principal at Munn Elementary, followed by another nine years as principal at Cosgrove Middle School. In 2005, she became the district director of professional development and last year, director of secondary education.
