Masters Tournament Spencerport brothers Joe Persia and Dan Persia earned spots in the Rochester Junior Grand Prix Masters Tournament. The Masters Tournament is by invitation only based on points earned through summer weekend tournaments. The eight top players in each age bracket were invited to play in the Masters at Tennis Club of Rochester. Joe, a senior, earned a 3rd place trophy in Boys 18 & under. Dan, a sophomore, earned a 4th place trophy in Boys 16 & under. Both boys play on the Spencerport varsity team under the coaching of John Gentile.. © September 16, 2007 - |
