CC's Junior High vocal group sings for thousands

Churchville-Chili Central School District Junior High School's vocal ensemble, Off the Beat (OTB), is rehearsing for their biggest gig to date. On November 16, the ensemble, made up of auditioned 8th and 9th grade students, will sing the national anthem before the Rochester Americans (Amerks) hockey game - one of a number of Amerks pre-game anthem performances for the year.

But singing the national anthem at the Blue Cross Arena is just the beginning. OTB has a busy year. They have a number of other performances lined up for December. On December 14, they will sing at the Jefferson Road location of Jitters coffee shop. On Wednesday, December 19, the group will be making their annual nursing home tour, which includes performances at the Hurlbut Nursing Home, Monroe Community Hospital, and Woodside Nursing Home, all located in Henrietta.

OTB is for hire for December holiday parties. The group covers popular and holiday songs, as well as a range of other music. Contact Erik Reinhart at ereinhart@cccsd.org for information.
