Twilight School gives Holley students
another option for learning

Holley students unable to attend regular classes have another option for learning right in their own backyard with the new Twilight School. This in-district based alternative learning program is available to certain students from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. every school day.

Director of Students Services Susan Cory accepts students into the program, and may include students who have out-of-school suspension and need after-school tutoring, those who have missed classes and need to make up work, those in need of non-traditional work/study programs, even those who have dropped out and want to come back to school.

"Twilight School is not a place for 'bad kids.' It's an alternative learning center," said Cory. "We want to keep as many students in school as possible and as many graduating with Regents diplomas as possible." The program serves seven students with one teacher and two teaching assistants. The program is available, upon approval, to students in grades 7 through 12.

For information contact Cory at 638-6335, extension 2191 or scory@holleycsd.org.
