Safety videos donated

The Gun Safety Awareness Coalition donated McGruff® the Crime Dog on Gun Safety video to all public libraries within Monroe County. The popular safety character McGruff delivers an important and compelling safety lesson to his nephew Scruff® about what young children should do if they encounter an unsecured firearm at school, at home or at a relative or friend's home. Senator George Maziarz said, "Gun safety is a lesson every family needs to learn. These videos may help save a life or prevent an injury. I commend the Coalition for its efforts to proactively educate the public about gun safety." Coalition members include Boy Scout Troop 375, Conservation Club of Brockport and local public officials.
