Hunts score both for Blue Devils

Freshman Ashley Hunt and sophomore Chelsea Hunt each scored goals with assists from Danielle Lehman, who was playing in her first varsity game after being called up from JV, to lead Brockport to a 2-0 win over visiting Spencerport in girls soccer.

The Blue Devils dominated the play early and hit three crossbars and two posts before Ashley Hunt converted a header after a cross from Lehman in the 11th minute.

The Rangers made some defensive alignment adjustments in the second half which resulted in increased pressure and offensive chances by Kaitlyn Chatt, Brittany Sheffet and Nora Venezky.

Brockport then put the game out of reach when Lehman again sent a cross to Chelsea Hunt who had an easy tap-in to make it 2-0.

Senior Kylee Jones made four saves to register the shutout, help the Blue Devils break a three game winless streak and improve to 6-4-1.
