4-H program celebrates National 4-H Week

The 4-H Youth Development Program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Genesee County celebrated National 4-H Week, October 7 to 13. The 4-H program and the various educational components were showcased in the window of the Chamber of Commerce on Main Street, Batavia.

This year the focus was on the celebration of 4-H's work in science, engineering and technology programs referred to as the 4-H SET programs. In Genesee County, 4-H members participate in science, engineering and technology programs ranging from GPS and GIS technology to animal and environmental science as well as citizenship and healthy living programs.
