Holley parent recognized for volunteer hours

Holley parent Carm Miller was recognized at the October 15 board of education meeting with a Soaring to New Heights Award for her countless hours as a district volunteer. Miller serves as PTSA president, Odyssey of the Mind coach, classroom volunteer and is on the High School Principal Interview Committee, Capital Project Committee, School Improvement Team and Health and Wellness Committee. In her seven years with the PTSA, she served as membership chair and fundraising chair. "Every district needs people like Carm," said Superintendent Robert D'Angelo, who presented her with the award.

Miller and her husband, Fred, have five children - two Holley graduates, a tenth grader, sixth grader and kindergartener.
