Sales of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows by JK Rowling support local libraries

Thanks to the patrons of Lift Bridge Bookshop who pre-ordered the Harry Potter book, 22 local libraries received credit donations to buy books at Lift Bridge and add to their collections. Five dollars from each pre-order was set aside for indicated libraries. The top credit donation was awarded to the Seymour Library. Cassandra Guthrie, library director said she was thrilled the library was the recipient of such a generous donation. She reported the Harry Potter book was the most popular book of the summer at the Seymour Library. The Hamlin Public Library and the Brockport High School Library received the second and third highest donations. Among other libraries that received donations were the Holley Free Community Library, the Ogden Farmers' Library, the Parma and Swan Public Libraries.
