BROCKPORT

McCauley, Lucille M., On Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the age of 93. She is predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Earl L. McCauley. Lucille is survived by her son, Ronald (Barbara) McCauley; her grandchildren, Mark and Melissa. Surviving family members include: brother-in-law Bernard Cliff (Evelyn Bronson), sister-in-law Marion McCauley, and niece Doloris (Marvin) Beany. A number of other nieces and nephews also survive her.

Funeral arrangements will be at the discretion of the family. Contributions can be made to the Brockport United Methodist Church.


CHILI

•Auble, James Albert, After a long and courageous battle with cancer, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 22, 2007. Jim was predeceased by his father, Albert Auble; stepfather, Jack Kosel; brother, David and sister, Michelle. Jim leaves his wife Tina Marie (Iacovangelo) Auble; children, Kristopher (Melissa Bombard), Tyler, Shayne and Gianna Marie; granddaughter, Ariel Auble; mother, Marie Kosel; stepmother, Bettie Auble; siblings, Christine (Eugene) Fiordeliso, Richard (Norma) Auble, Gaylene (Bruce) Carr, Karen (Chester) Collier, Raymond, Elzeen, Bettie Anne; sister-in-law, Diamond Auble; brothers-in-law, Anthony Iacovangelo and Christopher Kent; step-siblings (Kosel Kids) Nancy (John), Arlene (David), Bruce (Brenda), Peggy (Gil) and Tom; father and mother-in-law, Tony and Kathy Iacovangelo; mother-in-law Mary Ann Iacovangelo; grandmother Antoinette Merulla; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jim was a very proud veteran of U. S. Navy, an avid Buffalo Bills and N.Y. Yankees fan and very passionate about his family whom he loved deeply.

A Celebration of Jim's life was held October 25 at the First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Road. Private interment. Donations can be sent to Mt. Carmel Hospice Home, 4 Planet Street, Rochester, NY in Jim's memory.


Olson, Irene I., Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at age 90. Predeceased by her husband, J. Arthur "Art" Olson. Survived by two sons, Thomas (Sue), Richard (Karen); five grandchildren, Joanne, John, Sara, Wendy and Hillary; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special friends, Tom and Joyce Weller and Tom and Barb Snape.

A Funeral Service was held October 27 at Trinity Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 761 Elmgrove Road. Interment, Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush, NY. Donations can be made to Trinity Emmanuel or Lakeside Hospital in Brockport.


Stryker, Robert P., October 20, 2007. Predeceased by his first wife (Anne). Survived by his wife Ruth; children, Sandra (Edward) Martin, Norwalk, Connecticut; Debi M. Stryker (Peter Amico), Rochester, Richard (Sandra) Stryker, Scottsville; four granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; step daughter Dawn (Neil) Hansen, Gates.

CLARKSON

Hoy, Bruce E., Formerly of Clarkson and a 39-year resident of Broward County, Florida passed away August 19, 2007 after a gallant struggle to regain his health. Bruce graduated from Niagara University in 1958 after serving in the Navy during the Korean War. His 30-year career in the plumbing industry brought him much satisfaction and his knowledge and willingness to give of himself won him much respect. Bruce is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Shirley (Fowler); son, Kevin Keith; daughter Cynthia Adell Marlowe (Bob Stark); grandchildren, Joshua Marlowe (Mitzi), great-grandchildren, Jordan and Brianna; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah), James (Molly) and PFC Rebecca Curlott, (Ryan) of Kiawait. He is survived by 5 siblings, Jacque (Del) of Buffalo, Ann Shukis (Jerome) of Sedro Woolley, Washington, Milton (Phyllis) of Holley, Andrea Mannes (John) of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Michael (Deborah) of Edgewood, New Mexico; plus many nieces and nephews. Bruce will be missed by all for his love, wit and friendship.

A Funeral Mass was said October 27 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Brockport. Burial at Lakeview Cemetery.


GREECE

•Frey, Florence Cook, (Lemcke), October 16, 2007, age 87. She was predeceased by her husbands, Ernest Cook and Charles Frey. Also predeceased by her son, Gary Cook. Survived by her son, Leslie (Vivian) Cook; daughter-in-law Beverley (Robert) Marvin; grandchildren, Todd (Katherine), Tracy Lee Cook, Shelly (James) Paratore and Brenda (Todd) Forshay; seven great-grandchildren; her sister and brothers, Helen Kramer, Jack (Gladys), Harold (Shirley), Allan (Barb), Gerald (Joyce), Larry (Arletta) and Donald (Jackie) Lemcke; sister-in-law, Betty Lemcke; brother-in-law, Chester Delano; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held October 21 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Those wishing can contribute to Parma-Greece United Church of Christ in Florence's memory.


HAMLIN

•Massinger, Doris M., Formerly of East Northport, NY on Monday, October 22, 2007, at age 89. Predeceased by her husband, William David Massinger and daughter, Nancy Jane Mori. She is survived by her sons, William M. Massinger of North Carolina, Hank (Tracy) Massinger; son-in-law, Phil Mori of New Jersey; grandchildren, Nancy (Chuck) Dolson, Allison (Eddie) Gay, William James Massinger, Janis Rae Massinger; great-granddaughter Avery Gay; sister, Mary Altrui; special friends David and Beth Porteus and family; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Massinger was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Hamlin.

HILTON

Bidwell, Eileen M., October 19, 2007, Eileen M. (Perry) Bidwell, 93. She is predeceased by her husband, Orville, 1986. She is survived by her children, Richard (Virginia), Nancy, Larry (Gayl) Bidwell; her grandchildren, Julie Dickerson, Gregory (Cheryl), Thomas (Denise), Larry (Jennifer) Bidwell, Amy (Todd) Beehler and Lisa (Ray) Hammond; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, John Harvey; many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held October 27 at Brockport Free Methodist Church, Brockport. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Research or Lakeside Foundation in her memory.


Harris, Brian E. Jr., Suddenly, October 17, 2007, age 31. He is survived by his beloved wife, Meagan (Knapp); daddy of Maura J. Also survived by his parents, Brian E. Sr. and Sandra (Steinmetz) Harris; his sisters, Jennifer (Paul) Blackwell and Christine (Matthew) Schnackenberg; three nieces; father and mother-in-law, Theadore and Joanne Knapp; brother-in-law, Ted Knapp; grandparents, Margaret Harris, Theadore and Norma Knapp, Paul and Helen Mahaney, Gabe and Barbara Borrelli; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brian was a highly respected health education teacher at Greece Central Schools.

A Memorial Service was held October 22 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hilton. Memorial contributions can be made to his family for an Education Fund for his daughter, Maura, P.O. Box 745, Hilton 14468.


KENDALL

Stout, Joseph G., October 19, 2007. Predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Marie Stout; and brother Eugene. Survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Linda; loving children, Brenda (Christopher) Holcomb; Laurie (Marc) Mancarella, Jack Joseph (Angela) Stout, loving grandchildren, Joseph, Sarah and Laura Holcomb, Jack and Rowan Mancarella and two expecting grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann (Paul) Zukoski; brother William (Barbara) Stout; sister-in-law, Karen (Ted) Grant; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass was said October 24 at St. Mark Church, Kendall. Interment, private. Donations can be made to a future college fund for his cherished grandchildren.


OGDEN

Polco, Mitchell, October 17, 2007 at age 85. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Marian (Oppel) Polco; his sisters, Mary Haak, Helen Polco, Sophia Hall and Paula Woodruff. He is survived by his sons, Robert J. Polco of Ogden and Gary M. Polco of Charlotte, North Carolina; his sisters, Victoria (James) Moran, Rose (James) Dobbler, Catherine Caffyn and Anne Anderson; sister-in-law, Marge Oppel; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. and was a Navy veteran of WWII.

Funeral Services and Interment were at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the Parkinson's Disease Center, U of R, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642 in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

Camp, Josephine K., Monday, October 22, 2007, at age 82. She is predeceased by her grandson Kory Schramm; parents, Justin and Anna Schultz, siblings twin brother, George Schultz, Fred Krizan, Jean Schmidli, Justine Whitbeck and Pauline McClellan. Survived by her children, Lawrence, Richard (Carmel), Michael (Marsha) Camp, Wendy (Kurt) Schramm, Anne (Mark) Belfield and Patrick Camp and their father, Herman Camp; siblings, Anna Martin and Walter (Pat) Schultz; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sev-eral nieces and nephews.

D'Alonzo, Giovanni "John," October 21, 2007, at age 75. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Cella (Zeppetella) D'Alonzo; children, Anthony (Janine) D'Alonzo, Louise (John) Roman, John (Cheri) D'Alonzo Jr.; grandchildren, Anthony D'Alonzo II, John J. D'Alonzo, John Roman II, Victoria Roman, Raphella D'Alonzo, Adrianna D'Alonzo, Giovanni Carlo D'Alonzo, Brianna Dubolino; step mother Maria D'Alonzo; Sister, Philomena (Vince) Miale; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

John was a retiree of the U. S. Postal of the 14606 zip code area for 28 years. He loved to laugh, gather with family and friends, enjoyed a glass of homemade wine and a good game of Bocce.

A Funeral Mass was said October 24 at St. Theodore's Church, Gates. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


Hoy, Marion "Cleo," Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at age 80. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years James L. Hoy. She is survived by her daughters Leslie Kish and Marie (Jerry) Bueche; her grand-chil-dren, Katie (Michael) Norwood, Shelly Bueche and Carrie Bueche; many other family members and friends. Cleo retired in 1990 from the Spencerport School District.

A Memorial Service was held October 26 at Ogden Presbyterian Church, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the American Lung Association, Finger Lakes Region Inc., 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory.
