BHS plans for Broadway musical

The BHS Drama Club will showcase the finest in Broadway musicals when more than 80 actors, musicians and production staff present "Little Shop of Horrors." This musical debuted on Broadway in 1982, and was made into a 1986 feature film based on that musical. It tells the story of Seymour Krelborne, an inadequate and clumsy young florist's assistant who cultivates a plant, the penny-pinching Gravis Mushnick who owns the florist shop, a shop employee, Audrey, and the customers who come to the shop. Seymour discovers that the plant feeds on more than just plant food.

The show will be presented in the Brockport High School Auditorium on Thursday, November 8, Friday, November 9 and Saturday, November 10 at 7 p.m. and Sunday November 11 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased by calling 637-1927.
