National Junior Honor Society inductees

Merton Williams Middle School Principal Carol Stehm named 26 students into the National Junior Honor Society at induction ceremonies held November 1 at the school. New members Lindsay Adams and Shannen Drennon sang the National Anthem. Zachary Cole, Bianca Camillaci, Christine Rutherford, Ben Schreiber and Nadia Wallace spoke about the qualities needed for admission, a 95.5 percent average, leadership, service, citizenship and character. Featured speaker was Holli Nesbitt, past president of NJHS, who highlighted some of last year's activities. Inductees include: Amanda Accorso, Lindsay Adams, Bonnie Allan, Kelly Batz, Daniel Bowers, Catriona Braun, Michaela Burns, Bianca Camillaci, Katrina Campbell, Zachary Cole, Miranda DiMaria, Shannen Drennon, Christie Engle, Kristi Frey, Nikole Hicks, Jessica Noto, Maria Peerenboom, Dylan Phillips, Christine Rutherford, Ben Schreiber, Brianne Sundquist, Marian Tufano, Nadia Wallace, Katherine Wroblewski, Matthew Zachary and David Zielinski. Teachers Sally Capurso and Steve Cudzilo are the advisers.
