Senior experience day held at Byron-Bergen

Byron-Bergen High School hosted its annual "Senior Experience Day" on Wednesday, October 24. This event gives seniors the opportunity to attend workshops and presentations put on by various businesses and organizations. Speakers from Wal-Mart, Genesee Community College, Monroe Community College, Sheriff's Department, Rape Crisis, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, Bryant & Stratton, Army, Navy, Marines and WHEC-TV offered programs titled, "Beware/Be Aware," "What Employers Want," "No Means No," "College Prep," "Financial Aid," "Understanding the Military," "Winning Resume," "Know the News, Don't be the News," and "What Can I Expect in a College Classroom."

This was the first of several special days exclusively geared toward seniors at Byron-Bergen to help them prepare for life after high school.
