BROCKPORT

•Adams, Donald G., Suddenly, on April 15, 2008 at the age of 60. Predeceased by his parents Grant and Elinore Adams. He is survived by his daughters Jennifer and Kimberly Adams; granddaughters Caitlyn, Alyssa and Jenelle; sisters Carol (Ray) Gillette, Margaret (Dan) Adams-Burns; nephew Christopher Gillette and many friends.
Funeral Services were held April 19 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the Canandaigua Veteran's Hospital in his memory.


•Waller, Richard G., On April 10, 2008, predeceased by his wife Rita. He is survived by his children, Jerry (Maria), Joanne Kelso, Michael, Patrick (Tammy); grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer, Eric, Ericka and Anthony Sargent, Dakota, Steven, Karley; six great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Mary Thomann and Shirley Waller. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, a bus driver for Brockport Central Schools, a member of the Brockport Elks Club and the North Greece Fire Department.

A Funeral Mass was said April 14 at the Church of the Nativity of the BVM. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Lifetime Care Hospice in his memory.


CLARKSON

•Marshall, Richard P. Sr., 57 unexpectedly, April 11, 2008. He leaves his loving wife of 35 years, Linda (Koss) Marshall; children Rick (Jacqueline) Marshall, Kelly (Jim) Cook; a brother Stephen D. (Linda) Marshall; his grandson, Tyler Marshall and many other loving family members. He was predeceased by his parents Glenn and Geraldine (Stone) Marshall and his sister Patricia S. Barrera.

Funeral Services were held April 16 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the St. John Lutheran Church Building Fund in his memory.


CLARENDON

•Brown, Donald J., age 74, died April 10, 2008 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1952-1955, and was employed by Eastman Kodak for 29 years as a foreman in the dental and x-ray department before retiring in 1991. Don was a NASCAR fan. He was predeceased by his loving wife Edith in 2005. He is survived by daughters, Sheryl (Chris) Nelson of Albion and Debbie Brown of Greece; brothers, William Brown of Buffalo, Harley Brown of Albion; brother-in-law, David (Shirley) Campbell of Kent; close family friend Christine Falbo; nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a grand dog Angel and beloved cat Chloe.

Burial was private. Contributions can be made to PAWS (People's Animal Welfare Society), P. O. Box 244, Albion, NY 14411 in his memory.


HAMLIN

•Emerick, Christopher W., On April 12, 2008. Predeceased by his father William and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Helene Emerick and Jim Krygier; sisters, Nicole, Danielle, and Stephanie; several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephew.

A Memorial Service was held April 14 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in his memory.


HILTON

•Cashimere, Flora M., Peacefully on April 15, 2008 at age 86. Predeceased by her daughters, Carol Graff and Mary Ann Jason; granddaughter, Kimmy Jason. She is survived by her sons, Francis (Linda) and Joseph (Sandy) Cashimere; daughters Liz Kuhns of Arizona and Maureen (Ed) Lantz; sons-in-law, Art Jason and Bill Graff; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; dear friend, Mary McCauley.

Funeral Services were held April 18 at New Comer Funeral Home, Greece. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Western New York in her memory.


•McCovick, Ethan Robert, Saturday, April 12, 2008 at age 3. Survived by his loving parents, Robert (Tammy) McCovick; sister, Keira McCovick; grandparents, Robert (Cynthia) Kowalski, James (Cynthia) Davis; great-grandmother, Alice Davis; many loving, caring and devoted aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services were held April 18 at St. Paul Episcopal Church. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 333 Westmoreland Drive, Rochester 14620 in his memory.


•Shufelt, Carol (Marsh), April 11, 2008 at age 67. She is survived by her brother Charles (Lois) Marsh; niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends, especially from Rochester Telephone.

Funeral Services and interment were private. Donations can be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in her memory.


KENDALL

•Gerhardt, Linda A. (Hildreth), on April 10, 2008 at age 60. She was predeceased by her father, Frederick Hildreth and brothers-in-law, Charles L. and William R. Gerhardt. She is survived by her husband, David M. Gerhardt; their children, Michael Gerhardt and Paul (Robin) Gerhardt; mother Josephine Hildreth; grandchildren, Michael Jr., Derick, Mariah and Johnathan; sister, Gail (Jerry) Prince; brother-in-law, John (Margaret) Gerhardt; sisters-in-law, Barbara Gerhardt and Kate Bopp; several nieces, nephews and friends.

SPENCERPORT

•Barber, Bernice G. (Boddy) (Gresens), age 91, April 11, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Merwin Barber; her children Corwin (Patricia) Boddy, John (Kathleen) Boddy, Sandra (Jim) Ricci; stepchildren: Larry (Mary) Barber and Donna (Ken) Neitz. She also leaves several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held April 15 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Ogden Senior Center in her memory.


•Hilsinger, Richard B. "Dick" (WA2ATV), April 14, 2008 at age 85 surrounded by his entire family. He was predeceased by his son Rick and his son-in-law, Richard Reed. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Rae; his loving children, Julie, Paula, Carol (Rick West) and Doug; his daughter-in-law Dawn; and was proud Papa of six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of General Motors (electrician); a highly decorated WWII veteran as Flight Engineer and top turret gunner with 35 wartime missions aboard the B-17 "Fuddy Duddy."

•Mastrodonato, Catherine (Dennis), April 13, 2008. Catherine is survived by her husband, Andy Mastrodonato Jr.; children, Scott (Rachelle) Mastrodonato; Nicole (Phil) McMurdy, Andrew III (Courtney) Mastrodonato; grandchildren, Lilliana Catherine McMurdy, Colin McMurdy and Jacob Mastrodonato; brother, George Dennis; several nieces and nephews.

•Sturman, Helen J., April 10, 2008 at age 94 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Sturman; granddaughter, Julie Sturman; brother, Raymond Dziejman; sisters, Irene Dziejman and Victoria Straszewski. She is survived by her son, Norman (Susan) Sturman; her grandchildren Jennifer (Rodney) Moses, Jolene (Larry) Merlo; great granddaughters, Sophia and Juliana Moses and great grandson to be Antonio Merlo; brother, Richard (Mary) Dziejman; nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said April 14 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment, St. Stanislaus R.C. Cemetery, Buffalo.
