•Stephens, Barbara A., June 7, 2010, age 64. Retired from Eastman Kodak Co. in 2007. Wife of the late Thomas R. Stephens, Sr., who died in 2008, mother of Thomas R. Stephens, Jr. and Donald M. Stephens, both of Bergen; grandmother of Shelby Stephens and Kimberly Stephens, both of Cuba; sister of Donald (Deborah) Jones and Bonnie (Paul) Jary, both of Albion, Harry (Cindy) Jones and David (Julie) Jones, both of Holley and Donna (Mark) Kramer, of Bergen; aunt of several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Funeral Services were held June 9 at H. E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, Bergen. Interment, Until The Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica. BROCKPORT

•Marotta, Pauline S. (Weinstock), On June 5, 2010. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years Joseph J. Marotta Sr., son Mark S. Marotta and her sister Eunice Wong. She is survived by her children Sam (Paulette), Joseph Jr. (Margaret), Marsha (Robert) Collier and Barbara Reynard, 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass was held June 9 at Nativity Church BVM, Brockport. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


•Pasch, Rose Marie, age 77, died June 3, 2010 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Predeceased by her husband, Peter, parents Andrew and Rose Decker. She is survived by her loving children, Cynthia, Andrew Sr. (LuAnn) and Susan who was also her caregiver; four grandchildren, Andrew Jr., Robert, Kevin and Michael; one great granddaughter Layla; other family, Arthur, Kathy, Ronnie and Stuart; lifetime friend, Joyce Pepper; beloved cats Ber and Ginger.

Funeral Services were held June 8 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment, Hillside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport 14450 in her memory.


•Turner, Kim M., June 6, 2010 at age 53. Survived by her husband, David Waite; son, Dylan; daughters, Shayna and Jessica; her father, Jerry Wemesfelder and mother, Marcia Wemesfelder; brother, Tim; sister, Kathy; two nephews, Cody and Ryan.

Services were held June 12 in Brockport.


CHURCHVILLE

•Atkinson, John S. “Jack,” June 7, 2010 at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife June (Beeson) Atkinson; his children, Olinda (Lawrence) Ford, J. Scott (Susan) Atkinson, Cynthia (Bruce) Kelly, and Laurel (Anthony) DePaul; eight loving grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his siblings, Nanita Harriff and Saundra Peckham.

A remembrance gathering will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2010, 7 p.m. at The College at Brockport, Cooper Hall in the New York Room. Contributions can be made to Blossom Health Care Center Activities Department, 989 Blossom Road, Rochester 14610 in his memory.


•Stratford, George C., June 5, 2010. He is predeceased by his wife Lilah. Survived by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

HAMLIN

•Kuhn, Cheryl L. (Heise), of Thousand Oaks, California, formerly of Hamlin, age 63, died May 21, 2010 on her 44th wedding anniversary while visiting her daughter’s family in South Carolina. Survived by her husband, Thomas Kuhn; her children, Thomas (Cynthia) Kuhn Jr. of Wyoming, Renee Kuhn of California and Melinda (David) Cole of South Carolina; her mother, Norma Heise; nine grandchildren, Thomas III and Steven Kuhn, Emily, Bradley, Sarah, Wendy, Jason, Rachel and George Cole; sister-in-law, Kathy Heise; her aunt, Alice Heise; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Arthur Heise and her brother, Jay Heise.

A Memorial Service was held May 29 at St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin. Private interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, Upstate NY Chapter, 1650 South Avenue, Suite 100, Rochester 14620 in the name of Cheryl’s niece, Jill Heise.


•Rath, Mildred N. (Schepler), June 6, 2010, age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Elmer, 1977. Survived by daughters, Patricia (James) Dusett, Jayne (Bradley) New; her grandchildren, Kathy (James) Bresnan, Jill (Mark) Groves, Scott New, Michelle (Douglas) Major, Cory (Heather) New; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Molly, Samantha, Julia, Ava, Michaela and Melanie; her sister, Adeline (Larry) Merritt; sisters-in-law, LuDeen Schepler, Helen Szklany, Laurie Schultz, Carol Wright, Marion and Marilyn Rath; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

•Doan, James Keith, May 29, 2010. Most recently of 360 Laboratory Road, Apt. 205, Oak Ridge, Tennesee, age 79, from heart complications. Predeceased by his parents, sister and wife. Survived by his daughter and granddaughter.
