•Fox, Suzanne K., died March 15, 2009. Her life was celebrated June 27 by family and friends.


•Sankel, Jack G., On June 18, 2009 at the age of 84. Predeceased by his wife Doris. He is survived by his children Jacquelyn (George) Sabine, Susan (Philip) Ryan, David Sankel, Marcia (Nelson) Crosier; grandchildren Nicole Finger, Melanie Chaput, Morgan Ryan, David J. Sankel, John Sankel, Katlyn Munn, Giles Crosier; seven great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass was said June 22 at St. Mary’s Church, Holley. Interment, St. John’s Cemetery, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Hunt, Irving E. Sr., June 23, 2009 at age 78. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara F. Hunt; his children, Deborah (Patrick) Thomas of Bergen, Linda (James) Butler of Florida, Irving Jr. (Julie) Hunt of Churchville, and Kenneth (Pamela) Hunt of Morton; nine grandchildren; brothers; sisters; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held June 25 at Pearce Memorial Church, North Chili. Contributions can be made to the Clifton Fire Department, 53 Wheatland Center Road, Clifton, NY 14431 in his memory.


HILTON

•Conaty, George William, Jr., June 22, 2009 at age 72. George is survived by wife Patty Conaty; five daughters, Berit, Jane, Katie, and Sally Conaty and Erin Griffin; sister, Susan (Ralph) Morissey; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Service date and time will be announced at a later date.


•Eustance, Edgar C., June 18, 2009, age 93. He was born in Caledonia. He is survived by his wife, June of 68 years; their children, Linda (Charles) Privitera, Ralph (Diane) Eustance and Joyce Eustance; grandchildren, Jeffery (Sheila) Eustance, Deanne (Scott) Morgan, Charles Privitera and Elizabeth (Tom Trouve) Privitera; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Zachery Eustance, Jessica Wenban; sister-in-law, Ernestine Eustance of Pinebush, New York; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial in the Darien Cemetery, Darien, New York. Contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice in his memory.


•Serow, Kenneth A., June 15, 2009. Survived by his children, Ken (Carrie) Serow, Bonnie Serow, Brian McDonald; grandchildren, Nicholas McDonald, Nicholas Belluccio, Kenny and Kyle Serow; sisters, Kay (Tony) Vieira, Gail (Don) Hall; nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Kenneth served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. Ken was a recipient of the Purple Heart.

Funeral Services were held June 19 at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, Inc., Greece. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


•Wyant Randy E., June 24, 2009, age 54. Predeceased by his mother, M. Harriett Wyant. Survived by his father, Harold; his sister, Rebecca (Peter) Pulos; brothers, Michael (Suzette) and Thomas (Anne) Wyant; many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial Service was held June 27 at Parma-Greece United Church of Christ. Private Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Parma-Greece UCC Memorial Fund or Unity Foundation (Dialysis Unit) in his memory.


OGDEN

•Keeley, Kristina Marie, Suddenly on June 17, 2009, at age 18. She is survived by her father and mother, John and Ann (Capuano) Keeley; brother, Bryan Keeley; parental grandmother, Ethel Keeley; maternal grandfather, Frank Capuano; aunts and uncles, Mary and Doug Clark, Kathleen and Donald Cascini, Tina Lupiani; great uncles and great aunts, Ivy Crascall of England, Helen Dallesandro, Rose Capuano, Angelo and Rita Capuano, Thomas and Susan Capuano, Richard Capuano, Irma Ocke, Betty Ternooise; her special friend, Sean McFarlane; many cousins and dear friends. She was a 2008 graduate of Spencerport High School where she played on the volleyball team and played flute in the school band. She recently completed her first year at RIT where she was studying interior design.

A Funeral Mass was said June 22 at St. Theodore’s Church, Gates. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


•Knebel, Jean (Lonsbury), June 21, 2009. Predeceased by her husband, Austin Knebel; daughter, Carol Ann Knebel; parents, Melvern and Mary Lonsbury; brothers, Melvern and Kenneth Lonsbury; sisters, Florence Brady, Edna Stiegel and Eleanor Lonsbury. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Kenneth “Jerry” (Mary) Lonsbury, Eleanor Vincent, Joanne Northrup, Jackie Marianetti, Brycee Stiegel of Ohio; many loving great nieces and great nephews; dear friends, the Culhanes, the Setzers, Ruth Carroll and Diane Burnham. Mrs. Knebel was a retired clerk from the NY State Supreme Court.

Funeral Services were held June 26 at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., Gates. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220 or to American Lung Association, 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, 14620 in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Frank, Dorothy A. (Geen) (Heller) (Sojda), in her eighty-first year. Eldest daughter of the late Eleanor (McManus) and John Schraml. Predeceased by husbands, Eugene Trabold, Henry Sojda and Eugene Frank and sister-in-law Eleanor Schraml. Survived by her sister, Virginia (Harold) Ventura and brothers, Jack Schraml and Charles (Audrey) Schraml. Dottie will be missed by her children, daughters, Jeanne (William) Heller, Christine (Peter) Geen; and son, John (Kathy) Sojda; as well as grandchildren, Paula (Adam) Mortier, Elizabeth and Diana Heller, Logan, Kaitlyn and Devon Geen, Ricky Sojda; great-grandson Tabor Mortier; and great-granddog “Henry.”

•Maxim, Virginia M., June 16, 2009, at age 91. She is predeceased by her husband, Carl Maxim; siblings Robert Ansell, Mildred Angie, and Helen Fordham; and great-grandson, Matthew LaRocco. She is survived by her brother, Peter (Sharon) Ansell; her four children David (Judy) Maxim, Paul (Barbara) Maxim, Mark (Carolyn) Maxim, and Joan (Dennis) Holland; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and the countless lives of friends she’s touched.

A Memorial Service was held June 22 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Brockport.


SWEDEN

•Quinones, Jaime D., June 22, 2009 at age 65. Survived by his wife Donna; son David; brothers and sisters; sev-eral nieces and nephews.
