BROCKPORT

•Sentiff, Harry J., C.P.A. died July 14, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Christine; sister, Marjorie; brother, Ross of Lyndonville and sister-in-law, Shirley Sentiff; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his first wife, Thelma; brother, “Bill”; sister, Carol (Bob) Doyle and sister-in-law, Martha.

He was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Brockport, the Lions Club, Monroe County Historical Society and an honorary member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and Stafford Country Club. Harry was one of the founders and the first President of the Western Monroe Historical Society which restored the Morgan Manning House. He served two terms on the Board of Lakeside Memorial Hospital. He was named “Citizen of the Year” in 1985 by the Brockport Rotary Club for “service beyond self to the village and town of Sweden.” He was a former member and President of the SUNY College at Brockport Foundation. He served on the SUNY College Council for 10 years and was a former President of the State Association of College Council and Trustees.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Brockport First Presbyterian Church, 35 State Street, on Friday, July 24 at 7 p.m., followed by a reception at the Morgan Manning House. Contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Morgan Manning House, 151 Main Street, or the Office of Advancement, The College at Brockport, SUNY in his memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Woolston, Daniel D., June 5, 2009, at age 82 in Clarksville, Maryland. Daniel was born October 18, 1926, in Churchville to William and Catherine (Bennett) Woolston. On December 18, 1950 he married Shirley Thompson in Ames, Iowa. Daniel was employed at the Naval Ordnance Lab in White Oak, Maryland, and following he worked for Underwater Systems Incorporated in Silver Spring, Maryland and including Johnson Florist and Garden City in Olney, Maryland. He is survived by his wife Shirley Woolston of Clarksville, Maryland; daughters, Juanita Peterson of Odenton, Maryland and Deanna Kent of Surf City, North Carolina; his sister, Lorraine Hiltz of Binghamton; grandsons, Cliff Peterson of Fort Collins, Colorado, Christopher Peterson of Odenton, Maryland and Alex Woolston of Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lionel Woolston.

Services and interment were held July 11 in Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish, South Dakota. Family and friends can leave written condolences at www.klinefuneralchapel.com.


HILTON

•Stoll, David M., age 58, July 11, 2009. Predeceased by his mother, Phyllis (Clark) Stoll; brother, Robert G. Stoll. He is survived by his wife, Sarah (McGann) Stoll; their children, Shannon (Michael) Hillman, Derek Stoll; father, Frederick R. Stoll; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

HOLLEY

•Hendel, Arthur A., age 90, July 13, 2009. Retiree of Rochester Products and Owner/Operator of Hendel Farms in Holley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 24, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 3747 Brick Schoolhouse Road, Hamlin. Memorial contributions can be made to the Holley Volunteer Ambulance, 6 Thomas Street, Holley, New York 14470.


NORTH CHILI

•Rodas, Frederick, 71, died July 10, 2009. He is survived by his wife Sue of 36 years; four children; many close friends and RC Boat Racers.

Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association in his memory.
