•McLean, Rita M. (Donelle), August 15, 2009. Survived by her loving children Margaret, Joan, David, Danny; grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather, Amanda, Mark, Robin, Richard, Robert; many great-grandchildren. Predeceased this past May by her husband of nearly 60 years, William; sons, Patrick and Richard.
Funeral Services were held August 20 at Thomas Funeral Chapels, Inc., Rochester. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
•Ridd, Mark T., August 18, 2009 age 49. Son of Sara Kale-Dewalt Ridd of Brockport; husband of Cynthia Lavender Ridd of Brockport; father of Tyler Ridd and Chelsie Ridd, both of Brockport; brother of Craig Ridd of Greece and Lynn Levandowski of Kansas.

•Derby, Mary Elizabeth, August 15, at age 87. Survivors include her children, William (Theodore Cordes) Derby of Santa Monica, California, Kathleen (John) Dahlem of Virginia, Illinois, Margaret (Harold) Turner of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Michael Derby of Alder Point, California and Peter Derby of New Rochelle; grandchildren, Emily (Dan) Wright of Springfield, Illinois, John M. Dahlem and Mary E. Dahlem, both of Virginia, Illinois; great-grandchildren, Anna Claire Wright and Jack Wright, both of Springfield, Illinois; a brother, Henry Munger of Ithaca; several nieces and nephews.

•Hodge-Ciarpelli, Cynthia Lynn, Died suddenly on August 18, 2009 at age 42. Predeceased by her father, Eugene P. Hodge Sr. and nephew, David M. Shero. She is survived by her husband, Gary J. Ciarpelli; daughters, Jennifer (Ryan) Englert, Melissa Hodge; mother and stepfather, Ina Jane (Finn A.) Donaldson; sister and best friend, Kathleen V. (Gary) Curran; sister, Debra A. (Arthur) Murray; brothers, Eugene P. (Melissa) Hodge Jr., Robert O. (Nita) Hodge; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Cindy worked for Frontier Corporation for 20 years and was a member of the CWA Local 1170. She was also a member of the Chili American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1830.
A Funeral Mass was said August 22 at Holy Ghost Church, Gates. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 in her memory.

•Worden, John E., August 13, 2009, age 88. Survived by his wife, Nadyne; children, Gary A. Worden and Sharon (William) Brown; grandchildren, Stacey and Kristin Brown and Jess Wheeler; brother, Les Worden; sister, Sally Weber; daughter-in-law, Carol Marchand; special friends, Bonnie Burch and Steve Marshall.

•Draper, Shirley M., On August 18, 2009 at the age of 78. Predeceased by her husband Paul C. Draper Sr. and daughter Laura Lea. She is survived by her children Doreen, Rusty, Mark, Kathi, Ken, Karen, Toni and Missy; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother Norm Van Dorn; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held August 24 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Interment, Sandy Creek Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Humane Society in her memory.

•Alliet, Andrew Scott, August 13, 2009, infant son of Erin Rogers and Adam Alliet. Also survived by grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Jane Rogers, Diane (Dave) Palmer and Alan (Laurie) Alliet; great-grandparents, Betty Seidewand, Harold and Gloria Peeso, Charles and Nancy Alliet; aunts Lindsay and Lisa Rogers and Allison Alliet; uncle Ian Rogers.

•Almeter, Norman John, “Norm,” 99 years of age of Dearing, Georgia, died July 30, 2009. He was the beloved husband of the late Veronica (Verna) Marzolf who predeceased him on March 14, 1998, after 60 years of marriage. Norm was born in Sheldon, New York on June 22, 1910 and was the son of the late Jacob Almeter and Mary (Schwab) Almeter. Norm worked at General Motors as a foreman while purchasing a dairy farm in Parma-Hilton, New York in 1942. He gave up General Motors to do full time farming. Besides his love for farming, he loved to fish, hunt, play cards and bowl and became a member of the Knights of Columbus in 1946 up until his death as an Honary member and was Grand Knight in the year 1986-87. He retired from farming after 40 years for health reasons. He was predeceased by his baby daughter, Bernadette in 1958, two grandsons, Kevin Adams in 1981 and James Reyner in 1987. He is also predeceased by his brothers Maynard (Catherine), Alfred (Viola), Paul (Catherine and Rita), and Vincent, by sisters Dolores Aman, Catherine Schutt, and Cecelia Robinson. He is also survived by numerous cousins and nieces and nephews and many friends. Survivors include sons, Lawrence (Barbara), David (Cheryl), both of Hilton, Brother James, Trappist Monk of the Abbey of the Genesee in Piffard, New York, Thomas (Josephine), Joseph (Ngocanh) of Dearing, Georgia and Daniel (Marie) of Augusta, Georgia. Daughters include Margaret (John) Adams, Anne (Noel) Reyner, Theresa (Charles) Mance all of Hilton and Mary (Jeffrey) Pidel of Augusta, Georgia. Norman is also survived by 42 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles, of Florida and Clare of Almond, New York and sister, Theresa Cotter of Canisteo.
A Requiem Funeral Mass was said August 3 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Thomson, Georgia. Interment, Allelluia Community Cemetery in Dearing.
•Kluth, George A., August 17, 2009, age 90. He is survived by his sisters, Frances (Raymond) Pierce and Annabelle Kelso; several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Josephine Schepler.
Funeral Services were held August 19 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Hilton Volunteer Ambulance or St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin, in his memory.
•LaPointe, Jean L., age 84, August 15, 2009. She is survived by her husband, James LaPointe; her children, Jeffrey (Mary Lou) LaPointe, JoAnne LaPointe and Janet LaPointe; two grandchildren, Emily and Sarah LaPointe.
A Memorial Service was held August 22 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hilton. Private interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in her memory.
HOLLEY
•Anderson, Dorothy M. “Dot”, age 84, died August 16, 2009, at The Villages of Orleans. Born on July 5, 1925, in Albion, NY she was the daughter of the late Thorpe and Irene (Ball) Bell. She was employed as a spooler for 30 years with the 3M Company in Rochester, NY.
She is predeceased by her husband; Kenneth E. Anderson, Sr. and her children: Kenneth E. Anderson, Jr. and twins, Jeffery and Janice, as well as two brothers, Thorpe and Richard Bell.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Audrey (Harry) Bower of Brockport; Harry (Lisa) Anderson of Holley; and John (Cathy) Anderson of Greece. Also surviving are: five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; siblings: Homer Bell of Henrietta and Virginia Blissett of Holley, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held August 20 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment, Hillside Cemetery.
•Antinora, John A., August 16, 2009 at age 62. He is predeceased by his son, Joey Antinora. He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Steven Burns and Peter Rivera; daughters, Donna (Michael) Phlean and Tina (Michael) Baxter; several grandchildren; brothers and sisters.
A Memorial Celebration was held August 21 at the Concordia Lutheran Church, Brockport. Interment Private. Contributions can be made to Christian Center Memorial Fund, 20 Bader’s Way, Brockport, NY 14420 in his memory.
SPENCERPORT
•Macaluso, Madeline L. (Leonardi), August 14, 2009, at age 96. Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Michael R. Macaluso; sister Elvira Ferlicca; grandson, Edward Fitchpatrick. She is survived by her sister, Carmelita Douglas; daughters, Carol and George Wonder, Anne and Richard Canarvis, Mary and William Waters, St. Petersburg, Florida; son Richard and Nancy Macaluso, Oviedo, Florida; brother-in-law Joseph Macaluso; sister-in-law Mary and Norman Fazio; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated August 18 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Spencerport. Interment, St. John’s Cemetery, Spencerport.
