Peel, Kathie A. (Popowych), February 12, 1963-August 3, 2008, suddenly on August 3, 2008 in Seattle. Survived by her children, Stephanie and Eric; parents Richard (Sandra) Popowych of Hilton; Diane (Vince Simmons) Popowych of Albion; sisters Laurie (John) Zastawrny of Kendall, Julie (Howie) Fleischman of Naples; niece, Anna Zastawrny; nephews, Billy Zastawrny, Howie, Aron and Andrew Fleischman; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kathie graduated in 1981 from Irondequoit High School.
Memorial Service was held in Seattle. Donations can be made in her memory to Paws Animal Shelter, 3371 Gaines Basin Road, Albion, NY 14411.
Wietz, Dean H., of Virginia, died suddenly August 12, 2008 at age 55. Beloved husband and father, is survived by his wife Molly Wietz; sons, Darren H. Wietz and Patrick R. Wietz; mother Marian Cortright of Brockport and sister Wendy Heffer of New York state.

BROCKPORT
Fredericks, Helen M. (Zadrozny), August 21, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Ambrose (Whitey) Fredericks and daughter, Elaine Bennet. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Kathleen Fredericks; her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Quentin Stiefel; her sister Mrs. Janet Roland; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated August 25 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, 170 West Avenue, Brockport 14420 in her memory.
Goffe, Gregory M., On August 22, 2008. He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Gay, Mary Joan (Daniel) Heinsler, Stephanie (Richard) Dutcher; brother Charles; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Reynolds, Mary C., August 20, 2008, age 63. Survived by sons: David and James Kleinbach; mother, Agnes C. Ciccoline (Barr), Frances B., Age 85, August 22, 2008. Former payroll clerk for Holley Central School. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by sons, Joey (Anne) Ciccoline of Tennessee, Eddie (Linda) Ciccoline of Holley; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph E. Ciccoline, and her twin sister Kathryn.

Hurley-Curtis, Lenna, August 25, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Harold (Edna) Fletcher; husband, Leo Hurley; infant son, Shawn; and her brother Robert Fletcher. Ayres Sr.; her children, William (Merry) Ayres II of San Jose, California, Christine (Marc) Rippe of Churchville and Andrew (Elisabeth) Ayres of Boyds, Maryland; her grandsons Nickolas and Nathaniel Ayres, Dylan and Nickolas Rippe, Peyton Ayres; her mother and step-father Jeanette and Robert Scheib; her sisters, Deborah (Anthony) Rader, Sandra Montville and Joanne Reinhold; several nieces and nephews.

Fosmire, Eleanor M., On August 21, 2008. Predeceased by husband, Edward P. Fosmire. She is survived by her children, Bobbi (Bob) Heinkel, David (Holly), Bill (Jean), Jim (Heidi) and Richard (Michele) DeMocker; grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin) Dittmer, Amy (Jim) Baehr, Jason (Cathy) DeMocker, Becky (Mark) Straub, Heather (Lloyd) McWilliams, Susan (Dan Hillenbrand) Heinkel, Sara, Candace, Richard, Alison, Steven, David and John DeMocker; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Roberta Sheperd; brother, David (Teri) DeCurtis; many nieces, nephews and beloved Wegmans Ridgemont family.

Smith, George R., August 20, 2008 at age 95. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years Rita (Schur) Smith and 13 siblings. He is survived by his children, Sue (John) Zamiara, Michael Smith, Peg (Ed) Meyers, Martha (Larry) Beardsley and Marj Smith; his grandchildren, Kristen (Joshua) Bowman, Michael Zamiara, Tim (Alanna) Meyers, Eileen (Bob) Huss, Joe and Mike Meyers, Jeff (Lydia) Beardsley, Andy and Jason Beardsley; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Cody, Raegan and Daityn; his sister, Hester M. Smith; sister-in-law, Patricia Smith; many nieces and nephews. George was a lifelong resident of Ogden and served in the Army dur-ing WWII. After the war, he and his brother Les formed a partnership and purchased their dairy farm on Colby Street. Over the next 35 years, George successfully raised crops, cows and a family. Beginning in 1956, he served on the Board of Directors of Farm Credit Services for 23 years. When he retired from farming in 1979, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, cultivating his garden, delivering Meals-on-Wheels, and playing Euchre at the Ogden Senior Center.
