•Calmes Warner Gartz, Wendy D., November 29, 2009 at age 61, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Survivors include her mother, Wanita (Wood) Warner Schneider; her husband, Robert Gartz of Bergen; three daughters, Katherine Gartz of Oakfield, Tammy (Eric) Giunta of Penfield and Pamela Gartz of Bergen; a son, Mathew (Sharon) Gartz of Byron; four grandchildren, Haylee Gartz, Dominic Giunta, Lauren Gartz and Marcus Giunta; three brothers, John (Nancy) Warner, Dennis Warner and Hollett (Gloria) Warner III; a sister Cheryl Sieminski; several nieces and nephews.

•Baker, Christine E. (Yantz), On November 29, 2009. Predeceased by her father, Bernard Yantz. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Philip; children, Richard (Cindy) Baker, Dawn Roth; four grandchildren; one soon-to-be great grandchild; mother, Lucile; siblings, Barbara, William (Gloria), Douglas (Deborah), Agnes (Charles) Switzer, Ellen (Jessie) Rios, Joanne, Robin (Michael) Hicks, Donna (Greg) Weckesser; several nieces and nephews.

•Bibby, Kenneth B., On November 26, 2009 in his 101st year. Predeceased by his wife Hazel, daughter Eleanor Bennett, grandson, Roger Bennett of California and two great granddaughters. He is survived by his children Bruce (Jean), Milford (Theresa), Arlene (James) Hill; grandchildren Mark (Maureen), Greg, Kenneth (Teri) Bibby, Debbie Richenberg, Cheryl Chang, Luanne (Lenny) Rettig, Daniel Hill (Kathy), Eileen Hill (Jim), Joanne (Walter) Rutland, Michael Hill (Jenny), Colleen Kohlemeier; 23 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Ruth Quinn; several nieces and nephews. Ken was a member of the Brockport Fire Department for 65 years and a longtime member of the Brockport Fireman’s Exempts.

•Good, Frances C., On November 28, 2009. Predeceased by her husband Warren H., her grandson, Jared Thomas Good, her brother Bernard Bopp and her sisters Margaret Bopp, Marie Good and Virginia Green. She is survived by her son Thomas; daughter Patricia (Patty from Seymour Library); granddaughter Sarah Rebecca (Will) Mansfield; sisters Helen Wilkinson and Madeline Zaffuto; several nieces and nephews.

•Bloss, Wilma W., November 26, 2009 at age 92. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick L. Bloss. She is survived by her son, William F. Bloss; grandsons, William F. Bloss II and Adam M. Bloss; nieces, Dawn Kahler of Fairport and Cheryl (Bruce) Elder of Florida.

•Di Giacomo, Carmen J., Jr. “Jock,” November 22, 2009 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by sons, David and Ronn; brother-in-law, William Koch. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Lily; his children, Sue (David) Thomas, Robb DiGiacomo; daughter-in-law, Pat DiGiacomo; grandchildren, Brett (Bonnie) DiGiacomo, David DiGiacomo, Scott (Angel) DiGiacomo, Kristen (Phil) Bridenbaugh, Ryan Thomas and Michael DiGiacomo; great-grandchildren, Bianca, Bailey and Brooke DiGiacomo; sister, Elaine Koch; many nieces and nephews. Jock was the owner of OK Farms and OK Market for over 60 years. He was a member of the Churchville Lions Club, Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post 954, Churchville Fire Department and was former President of the NYS Cattle Dealers Association.

•Kenyon, Everett L. “Ebbie,” On November 25, 2009 at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Mavis Kenyon; his daughter, Becky McCorry Campbell (Terry); sons Scott (Patty) and Curt (Shelly) Kenyon; grandchildren Shawn McCorry, Heather, Vanessa, Olivia, Lillie Kenyon and Caitlin Campbell. Ebbie was a long time employee of the Brockport Central School District, a 60 year member of the Brockport Fire Department and a longtime member of the Brockport Exempts Club.

•Pizzo, Samuel J. Sr., November 25, 2009 at the age of 73. Sam is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Frances; children Sam (Gail) Pizzo Jr., Patty (Dale) Waite, Linda (Mark) McClain; grandchildren, Christa and Sam Pizzo, Jeffrey Waite, Brenda (Darren) VanOrden, Andy and Aidan McClain; great grandchildren, Stephen and Carter Pizzo; sister, Mary (Louie) Catalli; brother, Vincent (Domenica) Pizzo; many nieces and nephews. Sam was the owner of Carl’s Auto Seat Cover. He loved boating, hunting and fishing.

•Kleeh, William C., December 1, 2009 at age 60. Loving husband and father. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Irene Kleeh. Survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Cindy Kleeh; loving daughter, Chelsie Kleeh; brother, Alan (Linda) Kleeh; sister, Joan (Jed) Feffer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pat (Trudy) McCorry, Greg (Kim) Capone, Todd (Beth) Strassner, Roxanne Steubing; mother-in-law, Dolores Strassner; many nieces and nephews; many dear friends.

•Smalley, Edson, Age 88, died November 28, 2009. Survived by his wife of 65 years Irene Christ Smalley; children Sandra (James) Bartlett, John (Beverly) Smalley, Marsha (John) Green; sister Lorraine (Edward) Allen; son-in-law Roland Nenni; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Gale Nenni; brothers Harold and James Dwight (JD), sisters Althea DeGraff and Jean Abel. Edson retired from Kodak after 41 years of service and enjoyed 28 years of retirement. He was a long time member of the Masons and the Holley Fire Department.

•Speary, John A., On November 18, 2009, at the age of 75. Predeceased by his brother Harry and sister-in-law Elizabeth Speary. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Evelyn; son John (Susan); daughters Cheryl (Bart) Mayforth, Barbara (Darryl) Murrock, and Denise (Tom) Dunn; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and two nieces. He was a member of the Chili American Legion Post 1830.

KENDALL
•Gaylord, Herbert F., age 89, on November 24, 2009. He was a retiree of Rochester Products and US Army Veteran who served in seven invasions during WWII. Herb was a member of the VFW Post #202 of Holley and the Brockport Vets Club. He was predeceased by wife Clara in 1997. Survived by two sons, David (Tamara) Gaylord of Holley, Robert (Dawn) Gaylord of Kendall; seven grandchildren, Kristi (Richard) Rozzi, Karrie, Shannon and Meagan Gaylord, Kristina Gaylord, Sarah (Justin) Collyer, Jason Gaylord; three great grandchildren, Isabella, Luciana, Nicholas; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held November 28 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, with military honors. Contributions can be made to the VFW Post #202 of Holley or the Brockport Vets Club in his memory.

•Bobzin, Jacqueline, On November 25, 2009 at age 77. She is predeceased by her husband, Edward O. Bobzin. Survived by sons, Craig, Drew (Susan Nashburn), Blair (Angela); grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Katlin, Lyndsey, Kyle and Brad.

SPENCERPORT
•Korff, Margarete Anna (Reinschmidt), November 28, 2009 at the age of 97. She was born September 27, 1912 to Friedrich W. and Anna M. Mewes in Bremen, Germany. In 1938 Margarete married Otto Korff, a lithographer. They lived several years in Cologne, Germany and then returned to Bremen. In 1952 the family immigrated to Johnstown, NY and later to Rochester. Otto died in 1986 and Margarete remained there until 2003 when she then became a resident of Lakeside Beikirch Care Center until her death. She was predeceased by her sister, Hilda, brother Friedl and nephew Klaus. She is survived by her sister Wilma in Bremen, Germany; her daughters, Elke Korff (Lee Hunt), Heide (Joe) Reinschmidt; grandchildren, Peter, Regina (Don Nelson) and Michael Reinschmidt; great grandchildren, Garrett, Emily and Lukas Reinschmidt and Cecil Nelson.
A Prayer Service was held December 5 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Private interment. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, 170 West Avenue, Brockport 14420 in her memory.
•Peer, Barbara (Kerns), December 1, 2009 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Walter A. Peer. She is survived by her children, Jonathan (Jenny) Peer, Laurie (Don) Flood, Chris (Laura) Peer, Tim Peer and Betsy (Steve) Hale; grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) and David Peer, Andrew, Maureen and Kelly Peer, Lucas and Tyler Hale; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Ella; sister, Marge (Ed) Wintermantel; brother-in-law, Rodger (Margaret) Peer; sister-in-law, Marilyn Scott; several nieces and nephews.

Robert was a retiree of the Eastman Kodak Co. and a US Army veteran.

•Stoffel, Frederick J. Jr., “Fred,” November 20, 2009 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Gloria Stoffel. He is survived by his children, Derek (Anna) Stoffel, Danielle (John) Bailey and their mother Sandi Stoffel; his grandchildren, Genevieve, Maverick and Serenity Bailey; siblings, Diane “Dolly” (Sheila Ryan) Stoffel and Eric Stoffel. Fred graduated with honors from RIT, owned Stoffel & Co. CPAs in Spencerport and was a member of Ridgemont Country Club.
