Christmas on the Canal Committee to organize November 7

For the past five years, Christmas on the Canal has been held in Spencerport on the first Sunday in December. For a while, it appeared as though this event was to be dropped because of lack of interest. A small group of people decided that this event was a true asset to the community and it should not die ... but, they say they need everyone's help. There's a lot of work to be done in the next few weeks. They urge area residents to get the spirit of Christmas a little early and volunteer and help out.

There will be an organizational meeting on Tuesday, November 7 at 7 p.m. in the Firemen's Exempt Building, next to the canal. Everyone is invited to attend.
