Hilton-Parma Recreation, in conjunction with the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, is sponsoring a Snowmobile Safety program for kids ages 10-17. This free program will cover the basic operation and safety that young adults should be aware of before operating a snowmobile. A certification will be included for those successfully completing the course, which will be held on Saturday, December 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hilton Village Community Center on Henry Street in the village of Hilton. Parents are welcome to stay, and everyone is encouraged to bring a lunch, as this is an eight-hour certification course.

All materials are provided, and registration can be done by calling Hilton-Parma Recreation at 392-9030. Class size is limited.
