•Miller, Susan J., November 27, 2000 at age 74. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Miller, 1985 and her son, Steven Miller, 1991. She is survived by her daughters, Roberta J. Miller and Leona R. Miller; two grandchildren; her brother, Charles "Sam" (Doris) Kelsey; her sister, Mildred (Howard) Manuel; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

A celebration of her life was held December 2 at the Morton Baptist Church. Interment Clyde Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to GRHC Hospice or Rochester General Hospital Radiology Oncology Department in her memory.


ALBION

Crandall, Fanny (Cole), 91, peacefully following a long illness on November 23, 2000. Several nieces and nephews survive Mrs. Crandall. Services were held privately with interment in Mount Albion Cemetery. Those wishing can make memorial remembrances to the Pullman Memorial Universalist Church in Albion. Services entrusted to Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion.


BROCKPORT

•Bush, Margaret B. T., November 26, 2000 at age 92, in Connecticut. She was educated at Columbia Preparatory School and The Weylister, later part of the University of Bridgeport. After working at The Harley School, she marred the late Charles T. Bush of Morton and became the mother of Peter B. Ter Bush and James C. T. Bush. Following the sale of the family farm in 1959, the Bushes operated Bush House on Main Street, Brockport for 10 years. Upon retiring, Mrs. Bush volunteered many hours at Lakeside Memorial Hospital and was president of the Western Monroe Historical Society, 1971-73. She is survived by her son, Peter and his wife, Pamela; two grandchildren; a niece; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Interment at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made to the Morgan-Manning House, 151 Main Street, Brockport 14420.


•Hawkins, Leslie M. (McCormick), On November 25, 2000 at age 94. Predeceased by her son, John. Survived by her sons, Phillip (Priscilla) of Vermont, Lawrence (Elizabeth) of Maryland; daughter-in-law, Shirley Hawkins; grandchildren; Kathy Montague, Lynn Baker, Sharon Hawkins, David Hawkins, and Tracy Smith; four great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held December 2 at the First Baptist Church of Brockport. Contributions to First Baptist Church of Brockport.


•Schlueter, Ruth E. (McNamara), November 28, 2000 at age 80. Predeceased by her husband, George H. Schlueter and son-in-law, John Guerriero. Survived by her daughters, Ginny (Bernie) Heydens, Marilyn Guerriero and Donna (Bill) Bonehill; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen McNamara; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was held November 30 at St. Jude the Apostle Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, 170 West Avenue, Brockport 14420.

•Carter, Loretta M., Suddenly, November 23, 2000. Survived by William Carter; children, Laura Carpenter, William Carter, Janet (Gene) D'Ambrose, David (Maria Mackin) Carter; brothers, Elmer (Wilma) Mills, William (Ione) Mills, and David Mills; sister, Margaret Newman; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

A Funeral Service was held November 28 at the Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 4045 East Henrietta Road, where memorial contributions can be made. Inter-ment private.


CHURCHVILLE

•Mason, Frank N., At age 87. Survived by his wife, Susan Drake-Mason; daughter, Karen Marie Mason (Steve Smith); sister, Angel (Joe) Nardone; brother, Arthur (Heidi) Morgan; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, M. Aileen Mason, brothers, William Morgan, Louis Mitrano, Sammuel Mitrano, Joseph Mitrano; sisters, Elena DiEiacce, Mary DiPilato. He was retired from Rochester Products in 1978 and was proud to serve in the US Navy as a chief on the Zaniah and in Guam during WWII.

•Howie, A. Ruth (Clark), November 27, 2000 at age 78. Widow of William A. Howie, Sr., who predeceased her on September 10, 2000. She is survived by her children, William A. (Diane) Howie Jr., Stephen A. (Mary) Howie, Anne Eldred and Martha Groth; one granddaughter; her brothers, Alton Clark and Laverne (Mary) Clark; her sister-in-law, Ann Clark; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Walter, Albert and Grant Clark.

•Lawrenson, Joanne J. (Lotzow/Beaney), Peacefully, November 23, 2000 under love and support of her family. She is survived by her husband, Roy D. •Cowan, Bernard A. Sr. "Barney," November 25, 2000 at age 82. Predeceased by his wife, Helen; sister, Mary Donahue. Survived by four sons, Bernard (Marion) of Caledonia, William of Albion, James of Holley, John (Carolyn) of Holley; grandson, Stephen; step grandchildren, Scott and Jessica; brother, John (Sally) of Brockport; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were held November 29 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Interment in Sandy Creek Cemetery.


•Rightmyer, Charlotte (Rafferty), At age 94 died November 23, 2000 at the Orleans County Nursing Home. She was a member and former bookkeeper at St. Mary's Church in Holley. She was a former secretary at Kennedy-Ryan and Shields Attorneys in Spencerport. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Rightmyer. She is survived by two children, Elaine Long-Ellis of Florida and Edward (Mary Ann) Rightmyer of Holley; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary's Church on November 27. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Auburn. Memorials can be made to St. Jude's or the American Cancer Society.


KENT

•Furness, Diane, 57, on November 26, 2000 following a long illness. Mrs. Furness and her husband, William, were the owners/operators of the Wishing Well Motel for several years. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William Furness Sr. of Kent and their children, Vicky (Eric) Maxon of Kendall, William (Melissa) Furness Jr. of Kent and Richard (Patti) Furness also of Kent; her four grandchildren, Rachel, Michael, Billy and Dustin; her parents, Harold (Edna) Bolton of Albion and two brothers, Harold (Marie) Bolton of New Jersey, Charles (Esther) Bolton of Sterling, NY; two sisters, Betz (Jack) Scherberger of Rochester and Carol (Herb) McClellan of Albion; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said November 29 at Saint Mark's Church in Kendall. Interment at Transit Road Cemetery. Those wishing can make memorial remembrances to the Kendall Ambulance.


SPENCERPORT

•Jones, Catherine I., November 22, 2000 at age 88. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin F. Jones and her son, Thomas. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Alice (Stephen) Flagler of Bergen and Anne (John) Endries of Manlius; three grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew. She was a retiree of St. Andrew's Prep School.

A Funeral Service was held November 25 in the Chapel of St. Ann's Home, Rochester. Interment St. John's Cemetery, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to St. Ann's Foundation in her memory.


•Franke, Charles E., Saturday, November 25, 2000 at age 60. He is survived by his wife, Donna J. Franke; four daughters, Laurie (Scott) Koelle of Brockport, Valerie Puerner of Lake Placid, NY, Kelly (Douglas) Wilkey of Montana and Stephanie (David) Debo of Batavia; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Gabriel and Lydia Koelle, Charles and MacKenzie Puerner, Henry and Katie Wilkey; three brothers, David, Robert (Bonnie) and Paul (Eileen) Franke; his sister, Kathryn (Rodney) Perkins; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

Funeral Services were held November 29 at the Walker Brothers Company Funeral Home Inc., Spen-cerport. Interment Fairfield Cemetery, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association in his memory.


•O'Neal, Dorothy A., Passed away November 17, 2000. Predeceased by husband, Earl J. O'Neal. Survived by daughters, Patricia J. O'Neal and Peggy (Stan) Schinsing; grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

•Weller, Gene N., November 21, 2000 at age 70. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline (Trickey) Weller; two sons, Andrew W. and Michael G. Weller; his brother, Richard W. (Bernice) Weller of Spencerport; three brothers-in-law, James E. Devereaux of Clifton Springs, Douglas Trickey of East Rochester and Robert W. Trickey of Penfield; his sister-in-law, Phyllis O. Trickey of Irondequoit; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Janice E. Devereaux. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.
