Lollypop Farm West celebrates
Lollypop Farm West at the R.C. Steele Warehouse on Transit Way in Brockport will celebrate a year of 1,200 successful pet adoptions on Saturday, January 13. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. for the newly-expanded kennels.
"Our first year at Lollypop West has been even better than we hoped, with over 1,200 adoptions since we opened in October '99," says Humane Society Executive Director Jim Tedford. "We're grateful to the Warehouse Store for giving us the space, and to the Brockport community for welcoming us. With the expansion of the kennel area, we look forward to another great year of adoptions in 2001."
The public is invited to stop in for refreshments on Saturday, January 13 between 11 a.m. and noon. Families adopting pets on that day will receive a special "Pet Pack" of free samples, donated by Petsmart.
