Nationally-known Catholic Christian entertainer, Doug Brummel, will share his "Lighten Up" presentation at St. John's in Spencerport on January 21, 22 and 23; 7 to 8:45 p.m. Brummel will present a light-hearted, yet inspiring look at family experiences, the Catholic faith, and the joy of the Gospel. As a Catholic comedian, inspirational storyteller, musician and motivational teacher, he encourages all to "expect the unexpected."

With an extensive background in youth and family ministry, Brummel believes in the importance of bringing people of all ages together. "I believe God has called me to bring families together to laugh and learn more about their faith ... all at the same time." His ministry has brought him to hundreds of parishes to share his multi-night parish mission. He also is in high demand as a keynote speaker at diocesan, regional, and national youth and family conferences around the country.
