County and Deputy Sheriff PBA
reach tentative contract agreement
Monroe County Executive Jack Doyle, Undersheriff Patrick O'Flynn, who chaired the county's negotiating team, and Monroe County Sheriff PBA President Daniel Finnery announced last week that they have reached a tentative four-year collective bargaining agreement.
The agreement, which would be in place from 2000-2003, affects the wages and benefits of 240 Monroe County Sheriff's Office employees in the Police Bureau.
The Deputy Sheriff's PBA is one of three labor organizations representing Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies.
This tentative agreement is subject to the approval of the union membership and the Monroe County Legislature.
