Recapping the 2000 Hilton Apple Fest, Board of Directors members characterize the last fall festival as successful due to the hard work of organizers and the continued support of the community and visitors.

The 2001 Chairperson is Joe Lee and the Vice-Chairs are Fay Cole and Dick Myrick. The 2001 Board of Directors includes new members Jim Sage (chairperson of Apple Crisp) and Terry Quetschenbach (chairperson of the Apple Pie Contest and Special Events). Both Jim and Terry are not new to the Apple Fest in that they have served on several committees in the past.

Stepping down from the Board of Directors are Mike Ahl, Dave McCracken, Debbie McCracken and Kathy Soule. They will continue to volunteer to chair committees or to work on committees in 2001.

The Apple Fest Board of Directors and Committees meet the fourth Thursday of each month (except July, November and December) at 7:15 p.m. in the Apple Fest Room on the second floor of the Hilton Community Center, 59 Henry Street.
