Prints and paintings by Brian H. Jones
on exhibit at SUNY College at Brockport
The SUNY Brockport Department of Art welcomes the outstanding, emotionally-charged exhibit by Brian H. Jones, professor of fine arts at Indiana University Southeast. The Jones exhibit includes several of his recent prints and paintings, and will be on display in the Tower Fine Arts Gallery, Holley Street, January 26 through February 10.
Jones holds a BFA from Indiana University and an MFA from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. His work has been exhibited in 30 solo exhibitions and more than 125 international, national and regional exhibitions. He is the recipient of more than 15 individual artist fellowships, including the MacDowell Colony, the Corporation of Yaddo, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. The Tower Fine Arts Gallery is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, noon to 5 p.m., and Tuesdays and Wednesdays 7 to 9 p.m. For more information about the exhibit or to schedule a group tour, contact Debra Fisher, assistant professor and exhibit curator, Department of Art at 395-2209.
