The Walker Fire Department recently held its election of officers for 2001. Elected were - Chief B.J. Maier, Assistant Chief Charles Hungerford, Captains Brian Mohr and Greg Speer, Lieutenants Keith Butterfield, Edward Barth and Mark Flannery, EMS Robert Blank. Also elected were President Ray Northrup, Secretary George Doles, Treasurer William McDonald and Board member Thomas O'Leary. Officers for Walker Exempts are President Charles Morgante, Vice President James Way, Sr. and Trustee John Dear.
