On February 21 and 22, Hilton Central School District's Office of Staff Development is hosting an orientation and staff development session for current and prospective substitute teachers. The workshop is scheduled for February 21 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and February 22 from 9 a.m. to noon. Refreshments, lunch and workshop materials are included. Hilton Staff Development Director Mark Bower, as well as Business and Human Resource administrators, are part of the program which will include: application procedures, substitute teacher requirements, payment schedule, payment procedures, tour of the school district, classroom management issues and instructional strategies.
