The Ogden Bears of the Monroe County Pop Warner Football League will hold open registration for the 2001 season on Saturday, February 17 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Ogden Community Center, 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport. All registrants should bring a recent photo, copy of birth certificate, insurance information and a parent or guardian.

Players and cheerleaders in the tackle football program must be age seven before August 1, but no older than 15 as of August 1. Players will be placed on teams according to weight and age. Registration fee is $85 for football and $60 for cheerleading.

Flag football registration, new to the Ogden Bears' organization this season, will also have registration at the same time. Flag football players and cheerleaders/mascots must be age five before August 1 and older no older than seven as of August 1. Registration fee is $50 for flag football and $35 for flag football cheerleaders/mascots. Flag football is expected to begin on August 1 along with the tackle program.

There is a $20 per child discount for families with two or more participants in the Bears' organization along with a payment plan. There is no residency requirement to play for the Ogden Bears.
