Students organize outreach for earthquake victims
Three members of the Sixth Grade Class of St. John the Evangelist School in Greece have organized a service project to help the earthquake victims in India. Shayna Wells, Alyssa Farrugia, and Kelsey Abelein are collecting money from all the students and staff in their school and sending it to the Red Cross. The girls contacted the Red Cross to find out how they could help the people in India.
The money will be used by the Red Cross to provide food, clothing, and basic needs for the thousands of people who have become homeless because of the earthquake. Anyone wishing to help may send their donation to the school office in a sealed envelope marked, "Earthquake Aid."
