The Spencerport Board of Education is hosting a welcome reception for new superintendent Phillip Langton the night of the February 13 board meeting. The reception, open to the public, will take place in the board room at the Administration Building, 71 Lyell Avenue, from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

Langton began working in the district on January 29. He has been visiting the schools and meeting with people in the district and in the community, discussing the district's strengths, its most pressing needs, and the important issues facing Spencerport's schools.
