Retirees and individuals thinking about retiring within the next ten years are invited to participate in Genesee Community College's "Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement" seminar, which will be offered in three locations within the next two months.

The four-past seminar covers the fundamentals of money management before and during the retirement years. It will be offered at the Batavia Campus, Thursdays, March 1 to 22, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.; Wyoming Campus Center at Arcade, Thursdays, March 29 to April 19, 6 to 9 p.m.; and Orleans Campus Center, Thursdays, April 26 to May 17, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The seminar will focus on a variety of subjects of interest to retirees and pre-retirees, including retirement financial planning and budgeting saving and investing, and estate planning. Participants will receive workbooks they can use to help develop their own retirement plans. The fee for the seminar is $49. Spouses may attend the seminar free.
