Athletes named to All-Northeast Soccer team
SUNY College at Brockport sophomore forward Mark Maleski (Hamlin/Brockport) has been named to the All-Northeast soccer team presented by NSCAA/Adidas. Maleski was a second-team selection earlier this season.
The award was the second of the post-season for Maleski, who also was named first-team All-SUNYAC for the second year in a row. He was named First-year Player of the Year for SUNYAC in 1999.
Maleski scored 13 goals this year, leading the team in that category for the second year in a row. He now has 24 goals in just two years. The school record for career goals is 36, held by Chris Monroe (1991-94).
In addition, senior midfielder Shawn Hare (Spencerport) was an honorable mention All-SUNYAC selection.
