Over the past several years, the Clarkson Historical Society has been working to save and preserve the Old Clarkson School House from natural decay. Through the efforts of the Clarkson Historical Society much of the decay has been stopped.

The Clarkson Historical Society is now seeking artifacts that might reveal the past history of this great building. Anyone with pictures, student rosters, teacher listings, curriculum, schedules, report cards, anything that would shed light on the past of the school house should notify Ronn Klein, president of CHS or drop the artifacts off at the Clarkson Town Hall. Artifacts that cannot be donated will be categorized and returned to the owners. Any information that brings life to this valuable piece of Clarkson town history would be welcomed.
