Petitions available for
Spencerport Board of Education seats
Candidates wishing to run for the Spencerport Central Schoool Board of Education must submit petitions to the district clerk on or before Thursday, April 12 at 4 p.m.
Petitions must contain the signatures of at least 33 qualified voters of the school district. A qualified voter is any person who is a citizen of the United States, is at least 18 years old and is a resident of the school district for at least 30 days prior to the date of the election.
The terms of board members Craig Stratton, Jack Wade and Dennis Dupree expire on June 30.
Petitions may be obtained in the district clerks office, 71 Lyell Avenue, during regular business hours.
The Budget Hearing and Information Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. in the boardroom at the Administration Building, 71 Lyell Avenue. District residents will have the opportunity to learn about the budget as well as meet the candidates who are running for the Board of Education.
