Brockport school budget vote set for May 15
One trustee to be elected
Brockport School District residents will vote on the 2001-2002 school budget on May 15. The annual public budget presentation will be held two weeks before the vote, on May 1 at 7 p.m. at the district office building.
In addition to the annual budget, voters will be asked to support an $875,000 bus purchase proposition.
Also, one school board member will be elected to a five-year term. That seat is currently held by Gerald Maar. Prospective candidates for the school board must circulate petitions to collect 25 signatures. The petitions must be filed at the district office by 5 p.m. on April 16.
Voting will take place on May 15 from noon to 9 p.m. at both the Oliver Middle School and the Elizabeth Barclay School.
