Clarkson Republicans name fall slate
At the regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Clarkson Republican Committee, the following persons were nominated as the Republican candidates for this fall's elections. All candidates were interviewed and determined to be qualified for the positions they will hold if elected.
The Republican candidates for the November 2001 election are: Town Justice - Cindy Chasse; Town Supervisor - Christa Filipowicz; Town Board - Duane Marshall and Allan Hoy; Highway Superintendent - David Goodwin.
Duane Marshall, Allan Hoy and David Goodwin are incumbents. George Shaw, Republican town leader, stated that these candidates, when elected, would give the residents of the Town of Clarkson a strong cross section of representative government that will work in the best interests of all town residents.
