Braeview Realty recognizes Paul Mance as a graduate of the Achievers Buyer Brokerage Program. Paul took part in an intensive course addressing the changes in agency relationships with buyers and sellers.

Vocational workshops centered on the benefits to buyers from real estate agents that specifically represent buyers in a transaction. Other topics discussed included the delicate balance of agent responsibilities with buyers and sellers in the negotiation for the sale of a home.

"In our business, it is essential to be current on the changes effecting the real estate industry," said broker Mary Ann Hauck of Braeview Realty. "The Achievers Program is geared toward problem solving, technical issues related to servicing clients and marketing concepts that I can relate directly to my business."


Air Force Airman Eric P. Ziegler has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and customs and received special training in human relations. He is the son of Ken Ziegler of Castleton on Hudson, and Lisa Peachey of Brockport. Ziegler is a 1988 graduate of Holley High School.


Army National Guard Pvt. Joseph A. Maloney has graduated from the heavy-wheeled vehicle mechanic advanced individual training course at Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina. During the course, the soldier learned to perform unit maintenance on heavy duty vehicles. Maloney is the son of James A. Maloney of Spencerport and Catherine H. Gleber of LeRoy.


Army Pfc. Christopher J. McHugh has been decorated with the Army Achievement Medal. The medal is awarded to soldiers who have served in any capacity in a noncombat area authorized by the Secretary of the Army. The recipients must distinguish themselves by meritorious service or achievement and accomplish the act with distinction. McHugh is a mechanic assigned to the 403rd Transportation Company at Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is the son of Deborah Kershaw of Spencerport.


Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Danny A. Martinez, whose wife, Julie, is the daughter of Patricia and Richard Ahl of Hilton, was recently selected as Sailor of the Year at Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center, Rochester. Martinez was chosen as the top performer from among all the sailors assigned to the command and was cited for outstanding professional accomplishment, proficiency, leadership, initiative and military bearing. Martinez is a 2000 graduate of Monroe Community College.
