Foster care volunteers needed at Lollypop Farm
Because animals at Lollypop Farm aren't available for adoption until they reach two months of age, the facility needs foster care volunteers.
Kittens and puppies not yet two months old as well as dogs that are not able to be placed up for adoption because they need a time of recuperation from an illness or injury are the primary recipients of foster care. Animal-loving volunteers take responsibility for these pets, providing a safe environment in their home and caring for them, while reaping the benefits of having a temporary pet.
Those interested can attend an informational meeting at Lollypop Farm on Monday, April 9, at 7 p.m. The need for foster care volunteers is ongoing, particularly during spring and summer, so even those who can't volunteer now but would like to in the future, are invited. No pre-registration is required. Contact Volunteer Coordinator Maggie Huff at 716-223-1330 x 231 or visit the website at www.lollypop.org with questions.
