The National Day of Prayer is an annual event established by an act of Congress that encourages Americans to pray for our nation, its people and its leaders. Thursday, May 7, has been designated as this year's National Day of Prayer, and Billy Graham is the Honorary Chairman for 2001. Representatives from several Chili churches are joining together for a prayer service. All are invited to come to the Chili Town Hall at 7 p.m. for this special time of prayer for our local and national leaders. Participants should bring their own lawn chair.
