Spencerport’s new IGA store will open its doors to shoppers on May 20. Closed since last fall, the former Jubilee will re-open under new owners Mike Ward, Scott Ward and Doug DeFillips just a couple weeks later than originally predicted. The partners own five other groceries stores in the Rochester area and the Spencerport location has become home to their corporate offices.

A Grand Opening celebration will be held a few weeks after the May 20 opening, probably in early to mid-June, Mike Ward said. The partners want to have all departments running smoothly before offering the Grand Opening specials that attract a high volume of shoppers.
