Bright Raven gymnast Krystal Kaminski of Chili captured first place in floor exercise at the USAG Level 9 Regional Championship held April 21 at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. At Regionals, 17-year-old Krystal had the opportunity to compete with the top gymnasts from New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Maine.

The 17-year-old Churchville-Chili junior won her gold medal with a high score of 9.50 competing among 74 gymnasts in the Senior B division. She also won a silver medal (second place) for her performance in vaulting with a score of 9.025. Her high all around total of 35.025 has qualified her to compete at the Eastern National Championships to be held May 18-20 in Landover, Maryland.
