During 2000, there were 1,402 Ambulance calls (1,289 calls/113 "walk ins" at the base) and of those, 716 were Advanced Life Support (ALS) calls.

The Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance still has many unfilled administrative positions that can be filled by non-medical trained volunteers. There is also a great need for members of the community interested in serving as dispatchers, drivers or medics.
