Churchville-Chili students walk for Camp Good Days
Churchville-Chili students have raised nearly $4,000 for Camp Good Days and Special Times. Two physical education teachers at Fairbanks Road Elementary School, David Cassidy and Paul Dick, organized a "Walk for Camp Good Days," challenging their students to get sponsors. Then, students walked around the campus during their physical education classes the week of May 7.
Camp Good Days and Special Times is a non-profit organization that provides a camping experience and more for children and adults facing the toughest challenges of life. Children touched by cancer, HIV/AIDS, and violence gather at the beautiful Keuka Lake recreational facility to spark new smiles, re-kindle friendships and enjoy a week where they can simply be kids.
