GCC offers summer courses in Albion
Space is still available in summer academic courses offered at Genesee Community College's Orleans Campus Center, 456 West Avenue, Albion.
Courses running for the full summer session, running from May 21 to August 3, include Astronomy (Thursdays, 5:30 to 10:10 p.m.) and Algebra 1 (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 to 8 p.m.).
Courses running during the first session, which runs May 21 to June 22, include Principles of Marketing (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:20 to 9:30 p.m.); Microcomputer Applications (Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:10 a.m. to 1:10 p.m.); and U.S. History in the 20th Century (Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:20 to 9:30 p.m.).
Courses running during the second session, which runs July 2 to August 3, include Intermediate Algebra (Mondays and Wednesdays, 5: 20 to 9:30 p.m.); General Psychology (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 1:10 p.m.); and Public Speaking (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 1:10 p.m.).
Courses carry full college credit, which can be applied toward degrees at Genesee or other colleges and universities throughout the United States. Individuals wishing to register for courses can call the Orleans Campus Center at 589-4936.
