On June 5, the Chili Subordinate Grange will hold its regular meeting at the American Legion Pavilion on Scottsville Chili Road. The picnic supper is at 6:15 p.m. with the formal meeting to follow.

The meeting will be discussing two main subjects. The first will be the Pomono Grange picnic dinner that will be held at the Chili American Legion Post #1830 Pavilion on July 7, serving to be at 1 p.m. A regular meeting of the Chili Grange to precede this picnic dinner will be at 10 a.m. Help will be needed to set up before this dinner. The second subject to be discussed at the meeting will be the Monroe County Fair that is to take place on August 1 to August 5. There are still display areas in the Monroe County Grange building available for use. Contact Gerry Hendrickson at 889-9570 for information. Pomono Grange will be promoting a Strawberry Shortcake and Ice Cream Bar during the fair. Volunteers are welcome to help.
