Family Fun in the Sun will be held Saturday, June 9, at Hickory Park in the Village of Bergen. The event starts with lawn sales at 9 a.m. and kids races at 10 and 10:30 a.m. Crafters and vendors will be open for business at 11 a.m. At noon, a parade will start in the Village of Bergen and proceed south down Route 19 to the park.

Afternoon events include: Byron-Bergen Middle School Jazz Ensemble (12:30 p.m.), Gillam Grant karate demonstration (1:00 p.m.), and a concert by The Dady Brothers (1:30-3:30 p.m.). A chicken barbecue will be served starting at 4 p.m. ($6 per ticket). No entrance fee.
